How to Reserve Your Space:
Trips can be purchased online at www.stepoutadventures.com. Check payment can be made if received before 30 days prior to trip. Mail checks to 401 Corbett Avenue, #4, San Francisco, CA 94114.
Please
call our Office at 415-722-1449 to ask questions, check on availability of the
trip, and to determine if this trip is for you. While most of our trips are
designed to introduce participants to adventure activities, they can involve a
dramatic change in routine and do come with some risk. Participants are
responsible for selecting a trip appropriate to their abilities and should be
of sufficient good health to undertake the trip. Each participant must sign a
Waiver and Assumption of Risk form before beginning a trip.
Deposit and Balance Due Payments:
Although
deposits and payments are due ahead of time, depending on availability, a space
may be booked up until day of the trip.
A deposit of $100 per person
is due at the time of your booking to confirm your space. Trip balance is due by May 13, 2010. Reservations made after May 13
require full payment and are not eligible for refunds should you have to cancel.
Transportation:
Participant
is responsible for his or her own transportation. Directions, place and time of
meeting will be made clear to participant before the trip.
Tents and tent rental information:
All
tents rented or not, must be occupied by a maximum rated occupancy numbers. Example,
a 4-man tent must have at least 4 participants occupying it during this
event. A 2-man tent must have at
least 2 people. In the even that
you are travelling alone, you can reserve half of a two-person tent and we will
assign a tent-mate for you to share your tent with. Unless specified, tent rental pricing is per person and not per tent. We do our best to book sites together but because of the
limited availability campsites may not be close or even within the same
campground. Step Out Adventure employees will help setup and take down each
campsite.
Tent rental per personl: $10
No
refunds on tents once rented.
Meals included:
Saturday
– Dinner
Sunday
– Breakfast, Snacks
Menus
offered may be subject to change. Special
diets are accommodated when written limitations are provided at least one week
prior to trip.
Cancellations and Refunds:
If you
must cancel your trip, please notify us as soon as possible. Upon receipt of a
written notice prior to April 13, 2010, you will receive a full refund less
your deposit. Any cancellation made
after April 13, 2010 will not be eligible for a refund. You may, however,
substitute another person with no penalty. We highly recommend trip cancellation insurance.
Non-Performance:
Step
Out Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trip due to weather, water
conditions, or other good cause beyond our control. Should this become
necessary, your unused monies will be refunded or fully credited toward another
trip. If we must cancel your trip due to insufficient reservations, your money
will be refunded. All credits shall be limited to the amounts actually paid to
Step Out Adventures and will not include any other expenses incurred by
participants.
Minimum participants for this trip is set
at 8 persons. Should this number
not be met, Step Out Adventures has the right to cancel the trip. Should this occur, all moneys paid to
Step Out Adventures will be refunded.
Step Out Adventures will not be responsible for any other expenses paid
by customers to prepare for this trip, including airfare, accommodations,
vehicle rentals or any other expense not paid directly to Step Out
Adventures. Travel insurance is
highly recommended.
Step Out Adventure release of liability waiver:
All
participants must read the Step Out Adventures Deep Down and Dirty Release of
Liability Waiver and acknowledge that they have read, understand and agree to
its terms before purchasing tickets for the event. This waiver must be signed and dated prior to participating
in Step Out AdventuresŐ activities.
Employees
of Step Out Adventures or of it's outfitter have the right to refuse
participation by any person(s) they deem unfit to do so for any reason, at any
time before or during the event to protect the safety of that individual or of
other participants. That person(s)
will not be eligible for any refund associated with the trip.
